John Stipinovich is a founding executive of Trinitas Private Equity and has 29 years of private equity and investment banking experience.
After qualifying at Deloitte, John spent three years with a large South African bank where he specialised in project finance advisory for the African market. He then joined a niche South African merchant bank where he was joint head of private equity, with responsibility for strategic and operational management of two generalist private equity funds totalling R800 million.
Trinitas Private Equity manages The Trinitas Fund, which is a R670 million, institutional backed, mid-cap unlisted private equity fund. John is a key individual in this fund and is the point person for the Fund’s property portfolio investments, with a current equity value of R432 million and representing an aggregate property portfolio value of R1.8 billion. Through Trinitas Capital Management, an associate of Trinitas Private Equity, John is the point person for Trinitas Property Partners, which is a property investment holding company with a current equity value of R514 million and representing an aggregate property portfolio of R3 billion.
In 2019 John was involved in the establishment of Mpande Property Fund.
John is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa). John completed a Bachelor of Business Science (honours) degree at the University of Cape Town.
